MELEXIS MLX90614ESF-BAA-000-TU-ND non-contact infrared thermometer can be used with or with any microcontroller and can communicate with it via an I2C interface.
The sensor has a breakout board that contains all the components required for operation and two types of pins. They are not welded. The I2C interface has two jumpers. Depending on your application, soldering may or may not be required.
